My name is Jim Brown and I’m on a mission to help people get healthier and happier. I’m 62 years old and I live in Austin, Texas with my wife Jude. I worked in sales and sales management for years and I took my health for granted. I worked too many hours, slept too few, worried too much about hitting a number that was a moving target, convinced myself that I was eating healthy and that my back and neck pain were just normal fallout from a long-ago car wreck.
That feels like another lifetime ago. I got laid off and diagnosed with heart disease within weeks of each other and after I got done feeling pissed off and sorry for myself I realized that I had been given a gift.
